Prashant Kumar, leader of GP4Streets and founder/director of the Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE), Guildford Living Lab, and a Trustee at Zero Carbon Guildford (ZERO),  specialises in multidisciplinary research on air pollution monitoring and modeling, low-cost sensing, citizen science, and developing innovative solutions, including nature-based greening, tools, and guidance. Recognised as a top 1% highly-cited researcher, he is also the 2023 recipient of the prestigious Haagen-Smit Clean Air Award, recognised as the "Nobel Prize in Clean Air Achievements”. 


Role in GP4Streets
Kumar oversees GP4Streets' coordination while co-leading case studies, community data collection, public engagement, and development of the GP4Streets tool.
