Soheila Khalili
PhD Researcher
Soheila is a PhD student in the Civil Engineering Department, researching the effects of green infrastructure on urban heating and air quality. She holds a master’s degree in Architecture and Energy and a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. A chartered civil engineer and architect in Iran, she worked for several years as a designer in a consultancy firm, focusing on energy-efficient building design before pursuing her doctoral studies. Her research focuses on sustainable urban development, integrating engineering and environmental strategies to improve urban resilience, mitigate heat stress, and enhance air quality.
